we are the first 10th planet affiliated jiu jitu gym in norway, LOCATED OUT IN NORDNESHALLEN, WITH THE SOUL FOCUS ON TEACHING JIU JITSU, BUT ALSO TRAINING SOME OF BERGENS UP-AND-COMING PRO MMA ATHELETES.
WHO ARE WE
10P Bergen was founded in August 2015 by Frode Nilsen, a 10th Planet Black Belt and certified Moonhead under Eddie Bravo and owner of 10p fredrikstad.
He pioneered moves like the “Frodoplata” and “Gogoclinch” in the 10th Planet system.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
in 2023, Frode relocated to start 10P Fredrikstad, passing leadership of 10P Bergen to certified black belts Espen Visnes and Kristian Olsvik.

In summer 2025, Espen and Kristian decided to step back from coaching, and double black belt Benjamin “Benji-San” Mercury Ito became caretaker and Head Instructor.

"Benji-San" is an accomplished and lethal Jiu Jitsu athlete. he has lived in Japan and trained for years under the legendary Masakazu Imanari.
Benjamin was announced as the new Moonhead and caretaker in the summer of 2025. He also received his Black Belt from Moonhead Frode Nilsen in September 2025.

Jonas has been with 10P Bergen since day one, back when Frode started the club in 2015. A true OG, he's a rock-solid Jiu Jitsu athlete and coach, teaching both nogi and MMA.
Actively coaching our pro MMA fighters, Jonas brings deep knowledge across striking, wrestling, and ground game. His all-around expertise makes him a valuable asset for any fighter.
With calm presence and sharp insights, Jonas gives his best in every session, helping students level up, build confidence, and become real beasts.

Paul is our traveling ninja, always visiting to new Jiu Jitsu gyms, spreading the word about 10P Bergen to the whole world. He has been training at 10P Bergen since the start, and is technically strong as both a competitor and coach.
Paul is also a masseur at Flyt Bergen, so you know where to find him if you need to stretch your muscles after a hard Jiu Jitsu session.

Dani is the prime example of what 10P Bergen can do to an individual. Jiu Jitsu changed his lifestyle completely, making him one of the most technical coaches in our roster. Both beginners and advanced athletes can learn a lot from what Dani has to offer as a coach. He cares about the details, making sure you actually learn something after attending his sessions.
Dani is in charge of our "Fundamentals" sessions, which are perfect for all levels of Jiu Jitsu, especially the beginners.
