SubOnly Mindset 4L

My path into NOGI grappling/ jiu jitsu came through Shootfighting Traditional GI Jitz was never on my radar.. (although I've had a Japanese superhero outfit on a couple of times) I was obsessed with the idea of free fighting and the subonly mindset, the honesty and purity of it Every time I teach now, I always have a voice in the back of my head.. "Will this technique or concept be applicable if my opponent could rain down fists and elbows?" If not, I get, eeeh.. I, like Eddie @eddiebravo10p, like to grapple and pretend there's strikes.. take away the offence with your clinchgame, polish your sweeps and sub-attacks, FROM the clinch If you want to be dangerous with your Jiu Jitsu in MMA, then this is key Also, for MMA, learn to wrestle!
